Watching this wedding unfold from behind my camera was such an awesome experience. When Jess’s father saw her for the first time as she walked out of the house she had prepared in, it was like a scene from a Hollywood movie. Walking around Greenport where the grooms (and I) all grew up was so fun, especially since the groomsmen were all so easy and fun to photograph. After the ceremony, we ventured over to Salt Air Farms and walked through an apple orchard and endless fields of sunflowers. The day couldn't have gone more perfectly, the bride couldn't have been more gorgeous, and the two of them couldn't have looked any happier. My favorite part of the wedding, however, was in the last few moments of the night. Usually at the end of weddings the bride and groom are hopping around the dance floor with everyone. At the end of this night though, the bride and groom were in the middle of the dance floor clutching each other, with the biggest smiles on their faces. As I was snapping photos of them at one point, I looked at Jess and watched her as she told Drew, three times, "I love you so much." It was one of those perfect moments that reminded me even more why I love what I do.
